The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) faced public ridicule on Tuesday 3rd December 2019, for a shameful grammatical blunder they made on their official Twitter handle.
The dreaded examination board, which is notorious for frustrating young Nigerians seeking admission into tertiary institutions, showed that they aren’t so perfect after all, when they mistakenly used “Am” instead of “I’m” while responding to a complaint made by a Twitter user.
They tweeted “Send your ticket number for me to confirm. Am sure you have been attended to.” They have long deleted the tweet, but not before we got this screenshot.
Nigerians have so far taken to Twitter to troll and school them on how to use “am” and “I’m,” as it seems like JAMB didn’t pass JAMB.
