The wife of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, has tested positive for coronavirus after returning from a speaking engagement in Britain.
According to Al Jazeera, Greoire Trudeau showed mild flu-like symptoms upon her return.
Greoire Trudeau released a statement confirming that she is in isolation at home while healing from the ‘uncomfortable symptoms’ of the virus.
She displayed her patriotic spirit, mentioning how other Canadian families with health concerns may be worse off than she is.
“Although I’m experiencing uncomfortable symptoms of the virus, I will be back on my feet soon. Being in quarantine at home is nothing compared with other Canadian families who might be going through this and for those facing more serious health concerns.”
