Police declare Naira Marley wanted as he escapes arrest at Funke akindele’s party
Following the arrest of the poplular nollywood actress Funke Akindele for defying the covid19 lockdown restriction in lagos.
Nigerian controversial musician Naira Marley fled the scene of the event to avoid the police arrest.
The event which was organized by the nollywood actress and her husband to celebrate her husband birthday caught the attention of the police after a video was shared online.
This result in the arrest of the Nigerian famous actress by the Nigerian police for violating the covid19 lockdown restriction.
The Nigerian police herby released a statement stating that the Nigerian controversial musician and Funke akindele’s husband should report themselves at the nearest police station before they are declared wanted officially.
Police arrests Funke Akindele for organizing a party to violate covid19 lockdown
Nigerian famous actress Funke Akindele known for her active role in the Nigerian movie industry has been arrested for hosting a party amid the coronavirus lockdown.
Funke Akindele who is known to be the producer of the no1 viewer choice titled Jennifer was arrested by the Nigerian police for violating the lockdown restriction order in lagos state.
In a statement released by the police correspondent Mr Bala Elkana today 5th of April 2020 states that the attention of the Nigerian police was drawn to a viral video making round online.
The viral video which showing a large number of entertainers in an Estate, along Ajah, Ibeju-Lekki, lagos in a palpitate part organized by Funke akindele and her husband.
Yaba police detective arrived at the scene and arrested the Nigerian popular female actress Funke akindele.
She help in police custody for further investigation as Efforts to arrest the remaining persons in the video, among whom are Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley and Abdul Rasheed Bello a.k.a. JJC Skillz.
“They are in their best interests urged to report at the State CID Yaba on Monday 6th April, 2020 or risk being declared wanted,” he said.
