Kim Kardashian branded ‘mean’ by North after moaning at ‘not being left alone’
Kim Kardashian snapped back at her six-year-old daughter North after she interrupted a make-up tutorial with Kim complaining that she just wanted some time for herself
Kim Kardashian was every mum in lockdown as she complained about wanting some time for herself as the kids made sure they found her, wherever she is.
With the 39-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star trying to social distance herself from the rest of the family for a few minutes of ‘me time’, it wasn’t long before her whereabouts were rumbled.
With the coronavirus lockdown meaning that the whole family is stuck at home, Kim was hoping to hide in a spare room to share a video with her fans.
It was not to be though and while filming her make-up tutorial, she was gatecrashed by North and Kim gave her daughter short shrift for interrupting.
On Thursday, while Kim was in the middle of filming for her Instagram account, North walked into the bathroom.
At first it was kind of cute for Kim but the novelty soon wore off as she got fed up of her daughter appearing at the door.
After the six-year-old had walked in while Kim was showing how to put on concealer, North did it again while Kim was attending to her brows.
Kim asks her daughter “What, sweetie?” as North holds up her hand to get the attention of her mum.
North then asks “Can I wash my hands?” to which Kim replies: “Can you do it in another room? I’m in the middle of something. I don’t want to get this all wet, sweetie.”
After North turns and leaves, the SKIMS mogul admitted to the camera that she is spending her time trying to find space away from her offspring.
The reality star said: “I’m hiding in the guest room, you guys. I’m hiding in the guest room because my kids will not leave me alone.”
Unfortunately, this was within earshot of North, who shouts in from an adjoining room: “Hey, that’s mean!”
Kim then pleads with her: “North, can I please do my tutorial?”
She then adds in a more authoritative tone: “It’s all I want to do – one little fun thing for myself.”
Kim had previously spoken about the challenges of homeschooling during a video call interview with Jimmy Fallon for The Tonight Show.
She said: “I’m, like, hiding from them. And then they have to stop for PE, go run up and down in the backyard, or they do this Pokemon yoga.”
Kim also revealed that the kids had been spending their time making edible slime and building “a different fort” in “every room of the house.”
During an appearance on The View, Kim admitted that it had been a challenging time.
She said: “The kids just got on spring break, thank God! Being their teacher, too — my newfound respect for teachers!
“They deserve so much. It’s been tough juggling it all. You really have to put yourself on the back burner and just focus on the kids.”
“Let me say, being at home with four kids — if I ever thought for a minute that I wanted another one, that is out the door. It’s really tough.”
