5 habits that confident people exhibit

The way they talk , the way they walk , the way they exhibit this amazing aura of high esteem when they step into a room.

Who are they?

Confident people

So how do you define self-confidence?

In the simplest terms, It is a belief in oneself. So here are 5 habits exhibited by confident people

1. THEY KNOW HOW TO SAY ‘NO

Confident people are happy to decline the things they don’t have time or energy for.

Maybe you need to dedicate time to what matters, or you just don’t want to agree to something you don’t want to do. After all, it’s better to do two things well than to do ten things poorly.

People who feel pressured into saying “yes” all the time often find themselves over-committing. This can lead to stress, anxiety, and depression. Set your boundaries, and commit to defending them.Confident people know their priorities and they understand what makes them happy, and people treat them with respect because of it.

Try your best to learn to say no , even if you say yes to others make sure you aren’t saying no to yourself. This is something that you will need to practice and put effort into.

You will need to learn how to determine what to say no to and what to say yes to and then how to correctly and kindly say no to things that aren’t helping you.

2. THEY SEE FAILURE AS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY

Being afraid of failure isn’t bad. It’s bad when you let this fear divert you from trying harder or trying again.

The truth is no great success was ever achieved without failure. It could’ve been one epic failure or a series of failures.

It doesn’t matter if you fail a thousand times. For confident people this failure encourages them to do better , it’s not a roadblock or a dead end.

It’s an opportunity to learn new things , learn from their mistakes and try harder to achieve their goals. At the end of it all it’s not the strongest species that survives , it’s the most adaptable.

3. THEY DON’T AVOID NEW CHALLENGES

Have you ever wanted to try something new but fear held you back ?

You’ve killed your dreams out of fear.

Confident people acknowledge that fear is and would always be a natural part of the human experience. So they aren’t scared to do difficult things or take up new challenges when the need arises.

I’ve never met a confident person who runs away when the going gets tough , or when things seems scary. They like to step out of their comfort zones to achieve what they set their hearts and minds to and frankly so should you.

A great way to start building up this confidence is to start taking on smaller new challenges and start to build up the confidence to take on larger and more important new challenges.

Let’s all find the confidence in ourselves when we approach these difficult roads, for they often lead to beautiful destinations.

4. THEY DON’T OBSESS OVER OTHER PEOPLE’S OPINIONS

You can’t put confidence and people pleasing in the same room. They just don’t mix and they never will.Confident people understand this so they don’t rely on others peoples praise lift them up.

I can assure you if you rely on their praise, be prepared to let their criticism bring you down. It’s just how life is , not everyone would like you and not everyone is supposed to like you. It’s the honest truth.

For so many, we are so caught up and concerned with what other people are thinking about us.

However, a confident person knows that, yes, other people are talking about him, but no matter what he says or does he knows that he can’t control or change that person’s way of thinking or behaving.

So start caring a little less about what others think and start caring a lot more about what you think. Follow your instincts,go with your intuition. It won’t let you down.

5. THEY AVOID NEGATIVE BELIEFS,THOUGHTS AND ASSUMPTIONS

Confident people are faced with these challenges like humans but the difference is that they don’t allow those things to deter them from reaching their goal.

So steer clear from all the negative thinking and a the bad beliefs and assumptions. Nothing good ever come out of thinking bad. Be like a proton, always positive. You can’t put confidence and people pleasing in the same room.
