Insecurity: Buhari charges spiritual leaders to unite, fight terrorism

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Friday, charged strict heads, everything being equal, and foundations to join together and support the battle against illegal intimidation, seizing, banditry, and COVID-19 pandemic.

As indicated by an assertion by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the President settled on this decision while talking on the phone with the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar lll.

The assertion was named ‘President Buhari urges profound pioneers to prepare individuals, everything being equal, to battle wrongdoings.’

The Sultan was said to have called to celebrate with the President on the effective culmination of the Ramadan quick and the recognition of the Eid-el-Fitr.

The assertion read to some extent, “The President called for consistent exchange between the heads of the two significant religions for harmony and solidness to reign in the country.

“President Buhari praised the Sultan for his compelling authority of the Muslim Ummah and acknowledged him for the solidarity of the local area supported under his supervision.”

As per the assertion, the Sultan reaffirmed his obligation to the proceeded with presence of one Nigeria.

He said the Sultanate would keep on having its influence in the continuous exertion to handle the nation’s difficulties.
