Lekki-Epe road ready early 2022, says Sanwo-Olu

Lead representative Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has said the 18.7-kilometer six-path inflexible asphalt carriageway from Eleko Junction in Ibeju Lekki to Epe T-Junction in the state will be finished and initiated in the primary quarter of 2022.

As indicated by an assertion on Wednesday, Sanwo-Olu said this when he and individuals from the State Executive Council went on an on-the-spot evaluation of the undertaking on Monday.

Review that the lead representative dispatched the primary period of the development on the Lekki-Epe Expressway last November, launching the recovery of the 40-year-old foundation.

The second period of the undertaking, which will begin in the not so distant future, will proceed from Eleko Junction to Abraham Adesanya Junction in Eti-Osa pivot.

At the hour of the Governor’s investigation, the worker for hire had finished a stretch of three kilometers on the path from Eleko Junction internal Epe, while the option to proceed for the whole venture has been completely cleared.

The lead representative, who was energized by the work, communicated good faith that the undertaking would be followed through on record time.

He said, “The project worker has been dynamic on location over the most recent a half year. We are content with the advancement of the undertaking, in light of the fact that the worker for hire works day and night. I accept the work is on target.
