The Nigerian Labour Party (LP) has assured that their preparations for the February 25 general elections are progressing smoothly, specifically highlighting their successful registration of polling agents with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and their intention to be present in 85% of the polling units across the country.

The Senior Special Assistant on media to the National Chairman of the Party, Ndi Kato, released a press statement on Thursday encouraging the electorates to vote for the party’s candidate, Mr Peter Obi. The statement also noted that the party has achieved 85% readiness for the electoral process at the polling unit, and encouraged members of the public to ignore any social media claims of insufficient polling agents or lack of reliable footprints in the polling units. Kato stated that the party is ready and prepared for the successful conduct of the election.
Mr. Kato urged all Nigerians to cast their ballots in favour of Peter Obi, the Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party, and all other Labour Party Aspirants, in order to create a more prosperous future for the nation.
